Building on the successful launch of Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan’s Roshan Digital Account App in 2021, the bank decided to expand it’s digital services further by combining digital onboarding for Domestic and Roshan Digital accounts into one app. Codebase Technologies, Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan’s longstanding technology partner, accelerated the proposition’s time to market by leveraging the flexibility of the Digibanc platform already being used by Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan.
Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan and Codebase Technologies worked in close collaboration to architect an innovative solution, designed around the customer and the business needs of the bank. Leveraging the agility of the Digibanc platform allowed the teams to create seamless onboarding journeys for resident and non-resident customers in one easy to use app.
Among the key elements implemented by Codebase Technologies was a Software Development Kit (SDK) Integration. The Bank wanted a solution that they could plug into their existing core banking system and flexible enough to accommodate future developments, Codebase Technologies leveraged their Digibanc platform to create and integrate an SDK to ensure scalability and future-proof the Bank’s innovation capabilities.
The upgraded solution enhances Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan’s customer acquisition and operational efficiency by digitizing the account opening process and providing hyper-personalized digital onboarding journeys for new Domestic and Roshan Digital customers through the DIB Digital mobile app.
